Learning outcomes
The subject is designed as theoretical. Introduces students to Latin grammar and terminology. Students will acquire the basics of the Latin language needed for studying professional subjects and for future professions. A basic knowledge of Latin terminology greatly aids the understanding of professional medical language. Expertise: Student demonstrates knowledge of professional Latin medical terminology within his field of pronunciation, lexical and grammatical. Professional skills: Student is able to use the acquired knowledge when orienting himself in the professional medical nomenclature of his field. General qualifications: Student is able to use the professional Latin medical terminology of his field of specialization correctly within his professional knowledge, skills and competence.
