Learning outcomes
The subject is designed as a theoretically - practical. Students will study the techniques of physical examination and health evaluation covering human condition; they recognize indications of deviations of the healthy development. The subject includes comprehensive information about symptoms and symptomatology of systemic diseases, modern diagnostic and investigative methods in clinical fields of medicine. The subject adds more information to the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics; it introduces the students with the different class of medicine, its forms and principles of medication. It provides information about the interaction of medicication and the human body.
Subject Knowledge: The student knows and he is able to describe the symptoms and symptomatology of various systemic diseases and modern diagnostic and examinational methods, he knows how to prepare a patient for individual examinations and he has the knowledge of the physical examination performed by doctors and nurses in the clinical fields of medicine. Professional Skills: Students understand the basic clinical terms and understand the main examinational methods. Clinical pharmacology covers basic knowledge in this area with the issue of desirable and undesirable effects of drugs, their monitoring as one of the basic responsibilities of nurses.
