Course content
Framework scope of practice: o Work organization of nurses and nursing unit o Familiarization with the hygienic-epidemiological regime of the workplace o Familiarization with the management of medical documentation at the workplace, with the system of handling medical documentation and its storage o Performs oral and written information transfer within the nursing team o Reception, translation and release of the patient o Monitoring and indicative assessment of the physiological function of patients, including oxygen saturation and cardiac rhythm evaluation of other body parameters using medical devices o Caring for the patient's bed, positioning the patients o Hygiene care for children, adults o Care for patient emptying, preparation and assistance for catheterization, preparation and assistance with catheterization, permanent catheter care, care of aids, preparation and assistance with enema application, care of aids o Incontinent patient care o Nutrition and hydration care for adult and pediatric patients; o Non-invasive sampling of biological material o Participation in assessing the needs of patients and manifestations of their disease (assessment of the patient's overall condition) o Realization of all phases of the eye. process - active participation in collecting and processing the eye. history, participation in the eye. diagnostics, planning, implementation and evaluation of the effect of nursing care provided o Patient positioning during examination, treatment

Learning outcomes
Individual professional practice is provided by health service providers in the outpatient and inpatient segments, followed by after-care centers, homes for the elderly or other inpatient forms of health and social care. Practice takes place under the guidance of a professional mentor. Based on the fulfillment of the general nurse's profession, the number of hours of professional practice may be reduced for students / Decree No. 39/2005 Sb., Section 3, Paragraph 7 /, as amended, who, during their studies in the General Nursing Program (combined form of study) , they practice the profession of nurse. Students work according to individual professional training plan and consult with the professional training guarantor.
Expertise: The student demonstrates knowledge of nursing procedures and the theory of nursing, which can be applied in practice through nursing plans and nursing interventions. Professional skills: The student is able to implement nursing care by the nursing process method, is able to work with medical documentation and is a valid member of the medical team.

The condition for granting credits is the elaboration of a plan of nursing care for a specific client, keeping of the Book of professional training, evaluation of the mentor of professional practice.
