Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed as a theoretical. It introduces the students to general psychiatry, diagnostic and therapeutic options. It also presents legal aspects related to mental disorders, stressing the importance of physiotherapy as a part of the treatment of mental disorders.
Subject Knowledge and Skills: Students can recognize the clinical manifestations of mental disorders; they can respect the specifics of mental disorders in old age and childhood. They can describe the basic diagnostic methods in psychiatry, name therapeutic options in psychiatry. They can take into account the legal aspects associated with mental disorders and justify the importance of physiotherapy as a part of mental disorder treatment.
