Learning outcomes
The subject provides basic information concerning the subject of biophysics. It introduces students to the use of biophysics in the field of medical diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Students will acquire basic information about physical differences of individual methods and their biological effects. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with selected areas of biophysics - basic knowledge of physics and its use in medicine.
Expertise: The student will acquire and know basic terminology, knowledge and essence of biophysical processes in human organism. Professional skills: The student is able to explain selected processes taking place in the human body from the biophysics point of view and describe the principles of the function of physical devices with which he will come into contact in clinical practice.
