Course content
Exercise topics: 1. consultation Importance, content and forms of physical education in physiotherapy. Nomenclature and graphical representation of movement. Construction of exercise unit. The importance and method of stretching the most often shortened and weakened muscle groups. Stretching. Overall relaxation 2. consultation Correct and defective posture, proportion of muscle groups. Development and diagnostics of strength, speed, coordination abilities. Compensatory exercises - scoliotic posture, enlarged thoracic kyphosis, enlarged lumbar lordosis, flat back. Self-study: Flat leg, varosity and valgus of knees Callanetics

Learning outcomes
The course is conceived as theoretical - practical. It is a basis for teaching subject physiotherapy subjects. The aim is to master the above mentioned movement activities and ability to apply them in physiotherapeutic procedures including graphical representation of movement and nomenclature
Expertise: The student can explain the importance of movement in the healing process and describe the construction of the exercise unit. Controls nomenclature. Professional skills: The student knows the technique of stretching shortened muscle groups and is able to choose the right way of strengthening weakened muscle groups. It is able to distinguish correct and faulty posture.
