Course content
Exercise topics: 1. Importance, content and forms of physical education in physiotherapy. 2. Problems of defective posture, identification of defective posture. 3. Compensatory exercises - scoliotic posture. 4. Compensatory exercises - enlarged thoracic kyphosis. 5. Compensatory exercises - enlarged lumbar lordosis. 6. Total relaxation. 7. Flat back. 8. Flat foot, knee varosity and valgosities. 9. Methodological outputs. 10. Methodological outputs.

Learning outcomes
The course is a basis for teaching the subject Basics of physiotherapy and examination methods II. The aim is to master the above mentioned motor skills, development of all motor skills and their application in physiotherapeutic procedures including graphical representation of movement and nomenclature.
Expertise: The student can explain the importance of movement in the healing process and describe the construction of the exercise unit with respect to the individual approach to the exercisers. Professional skills: The student knows the technique of stretching shortened muscle groups and is able to choose the right way of strengthening weakened muscle groups in individual types of musculoskeletal disorders. It is able to distinguish between correct and faulty posture and use specific exercises to eliminate faulty posture. General eligibility: The student is able to practically use movement in the healing process, further he is able to stretch shortened muscle groups and strengthen weakened muscle groups.
