Course content
Seminar topics: 1. Basic massage touches, effects, indications, contraindications of sports massage. 2. Neck massage. 3. Back massage. 4. Massage of lower limbs - back side. 5. Massage of lower limbs - front side. 6. Massage of upper limbs. 7. Chest massage. 8. Massage of the abdomen. 9. Automassage.

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on practical training of sports massage, but students will also gain basic information about other types of massage. In the field of sports massage they will learn basic touches, individual massage sets for treatment of athletes in the phase of sports training, they will learn about the effects of sports massage, its indications and contraindications. They will get acquainted with individual types of massage means and their effects. The aim of the course is to acquire practical skills and knowledge of their applications.
Expertise: Student can describe the basic massage touches and massage sets and distinguish between them, can explain the effect of massage on a person. Professional skills: Student can practically perform sports massage on the client, can demonstrate and explain the client's massage. General eligibility: Student is practically able to perform sports massage on the client, show and explain to the client the automassage.
