Course content
The course provides students with the application of basic skills acquired in practice. It is taught at specialized workplaces of medical facilities, including spa facilities. It leads students to work independently on a quality professional level. The aim of the course is to enable students to use acquired professional skills in the indication areas of surgery, traumatology, surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics including basic procedures of locomotor system examination in work with a specific patient. Students complete professional continuous practice at basic departments of medical facilities of their choice and in accordance with the requirements specified in the Journal of Professional Practice (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Aftercare Department, Rehabilitation Department, Spa Facilities) on the basis of a contractual relationship between FZS UJEP medical facility under the supervision of AP FZS and professional guidance of mentors of professional practice.

Expertise: Student is able to use passive movement in basic indication areas, apply basic types of active movement, basic procedure of respiratory physiotherapy, procedures of positioning according to goals, anthropometric and goniometric examination. Professional skills: The student is able to realize fitness exercises in the basic indication areas and with regard to the specifics of age, can implement basic procedures of respiratory physiotherapy, examine the muscular system according to the muscle test, including subsequent exercises according to the muscle test. General eligibility: The student is able to apply acquired professional skills during individual professional continuous practice.

Credit: 100% participation in Professional Continuous Practice II. Submitting a written protocol from practice (taking a medical history and elaborating a kinesiological analysis according to a model). Handing in the Student Practice Diary in accordance with the FZS schedule and checking the AP, which is in charge of organizational support - Mgr. Bredlová
