Course content
Lecture topics: 1st consultation: Anthropometry, trigonometry, SFTR method. 2nd consultation: Examination of truncated structures, hypermobility examination. Exercise topics: 3rd consultation: General principles of examination methods of the locomotor system - palpation of palpable points, marking of body planes and directions, examination of anthropometry, goniometry. 4. Consultation: Examination of shortened structures, hypermobility. Self-study: Protocol processing - goniometry, anthropometry, control by electronic and individual consultations. Self-study of recommended literature and study support.

Learning outcomes
The subject provides students with basic information from examination methods and comprehensive information about treatment methods in physiotherapy. It is an introduction to the study of rehabilitation fields.
Expertise: The student is able to describe the individual planes and directions of the body, defines the concept of anthropometry and goniometry, knows the range of movements in the joints and spine, and knows the SFTR method. He knows the syndromes of muscle imbalance according to prof. Janda, defines muscles with a tendency to shorten and weaken the muscles on the ventral and dorsal sides of the body. Professional skills: The student is able to palpate tactile points on the human body, can work with planimetric goniometer, can investigate ranges of movements in peripheral and root joints, investigate shortened structures and hypermobility.
