Course content
Lecture Topics: 1. consultation: Anthropometrics, goniometry, method SFTR. 2. consultation: Examination of shortened structures, examination of hyper-mobility. Seminar Topics: 1. consultation: General principles during examination methods of motoric system - palpation of palpable points, specification of body plains and directions, examination anthropometrics, goniometry. 2. consultation: Examination of shortened structures, examination of hyper-mobility Self-Study: Protocol writing: goniometry, anthropometrics. Progress is controlled by means of electronic and individual consultations. Self-study of recommended literature and study aids.

Learning outcomes
The subject gives the students some basic information about examination methods and complex information about medical methods in physiotherapy. It can be taken as introduction to rehabilitation study field.
Subject Knowledge: Student can describe various body plains and directions, can define the terms of anthropometrics and goniometry, he/ she knows the range of joint and spine movement, he/she knows SFTR method, the syndromes of muscular unbalances according to prof. Janda, he/ she can define muscles which tend to be shortened and weakened on ventral and dorsal body side. Subject Skills: Student can find palpable points of the body, can work with planimetric goniometer, can examine the ranges of movement in peripheral and core joints, examine shortened structured and hyper-mobility.
