Learning outcomes
The subject provides students with basic information from examination methods and comprehensive information about treatment methods in physiotherapy. It is an introduction to the study of rehabilitation fields.
Expertise: The student is able to describe the individual planes and directions of the body, defines the concept of anthropometry and goniometry, knows the range of movements in the joints and spine, and knows the SFTR method. He knows the syndromes of muscle imbalance according to prof. Janda, defines muscles with a tendency to shorten and weaken the muscles on the ventral and dorsal sides of the body. Professional skills: The student is able to palpate tactile points on the human body, can work with planimetric goniometer, can investigate ranges of movements in peripheral and root joints, investigate shortened structures and hypermobility. General eligibility: The student is able to orientate in rehabilitation terminology, investigate anthropometric and trigonometric parameters, which he/she is able to write according to SFTR method. It is also able to investigate shortened structures and hypermobility.
