Course content
Lecture Topics: 1. consultation: Types of psychotherapy, psychotherapeutic relationships and processes. Methods and techniques of psychotherapy. Group psychotherapy. Individual psychotherapy. Psychotherapy in the context of rehabilitation. Self-Study: Psychotherapeutic specializations. Psychotherapy in the Czech Republic. Psychotherapy of the somatically ill and the impaired patients. Therapist's personality.

Learning outcomes
The subject introduces basic psychotherapeutic specializations. It is focused on individual and group psychotherapy. The aim is to understand the importance of psychotherapy in increasing the life quality, introducing psychological tools in treatment and rehabilitation based on the focus group. Studying the ways of creating the trust between the therapist and the client, it's maintaining and finishing.
Subject Knowledge: Students can explain specified psychotherapeutic approaches: aims, techniques, possibilities of intervention. Subject Skills: Student can choose individual or group therapy and improve the patient's life. He/she can make a trustful relationship between the therapist and the client when taking into account the personality, diagnosis, social status and family relations.
