Lecture Topics: 1st consultation: History of paediatrics, problems of neonatal age, congenital malformations. Problems of premature and high-risk newborns and importance for the study program. Child Growth and Development of Child Care Organization in the Czech Republic 2nd consultation: Diseased heart and blood circulation. Digestive system diseases. Diseases of the central nervous system. Self-study: Diseases of the respiratory system of the child. Problems of allergy and immune disorders, rheumatology. Hematology. Endocrine system disorders.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on diseases of childhood, which require intervention of physiotherapist. Students obtain information about examination methods, clinical picture, therapy, prevention and indication and contraindication of ergotherapy. Students will gain a broad knowledge base and ability to apply them in practice.
Expertise: The student has to get an overview of basic problems of childhood including principles of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Professional skills: Based on the above-mentioned knowledge, develop the skills needed to acquire the skills of an physiotherapist.
