Course content
Lecture Topics: Cardiovascular system of a child. Hemodynamic displays. Examination procedure using visualization methods and results application. Seminar Topics: Symptoms of heart failure. Assistance during diagnostic processes applying visualization methods. 1. consultation: Application of diagnostics results gained by visual methods, treatment procedures for children. Self-Study: Radiological anatomy of the cardiovascular system. Radiological anatomy of musculoskeletal system.

Learning outcomes
The subject is focused on the basic characteristics of the diseases in young age which requires physiotherapeutic intervention. The clinical picture is specified for each disease as well as indication and contraindication of physiotherapy. Students will get broader knowledge and abilities which they can apply in practice.
Subject Knowledge: Student can describe the process of defining the defects of cardiovascular system function. Student can use the results of visualization methods in his/her activity. Subject Skills: Student can recognize the symptoms of a possible heart failure of a child and deal with the situation with an ambulance emergency crew. The results of diagnostic visualization methods are used in physiotherapeutic procedures run by students.
