Seminar topics: 1st consultation: Introduction to the study, etiopetogenesis of diseases in internal medicine, basic examination methods internally, treatment procedures internally, general symptomatology - geriatric specifics, examination of basic physiological functions and examination of cardiac patients, use of ICT in therapy, ICT as part of ergotherapy + review study Self-study: ICT at Artroz Practical use of programs on PC Practical use of the game console

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide theoretical background for physiotherapy, especially knowledge of general symptoms of diseases, to acquaint them with examination and treatment methods and to provide special knowledge about individual diseases and acute conditions. The importance of prevention is emphasized. The aim is to enable the students to obtain theoretical background concerning examination methods, clinical symptoms and treatment methods of internal diseases, which will suitably complement the use of modern technologies in clinical practice.
Expertise: Student demonstrates professional knowledge of modern technologies that are applied in physiotherapy. In connection with this knowledge the student will understand selected diseases and related examination methods. It demonstrates a broad knowledge of the nature of internal diseases not only clinically, but also diagnostic. Professional skills: Student is able to use the basic principles of examination methods, which suitably connects with the given internal disease and suitably complements them by using modern technologies.
