Course content
Topics of lectures: 1st consultation: Movement control, pain theory, principle of functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Soft tissue techniques (examination and treatment of skin, subcutaneous tissue, fascia), ball facilitation. Muscular imbalance, basic chains of functional disorders. Postisometric muscle relaxation, antigravity muscle therapy. 2nd consultation: Introduction to the course Methods of kinesiotherapy (explanation of basic concepts - PIR, PFS, RI), Soft tissue techniques (examination and treatment of skin, subcutaneous tissue, fascia), PNF, Concept of buckling exercises according to R. Brunkow / Acral coactivation therapy, sensorimotor stimulation, Brügger concept , SPS moves according to MUDr. Laugh. 3rd consultation: Developmental kinesiology, the concept of DNS according to Kolář - the principle of examination and therapy. Principles of examination and therapy of methods - Vojta reflex locomotion, Bobath concept, Kenny therapy, PNF, Moses therapy, Brügger concept, sensorimotor, Mc Kenzie concept, Brunkow method. Exercise topics: 4. Consultation: Examination and mobilization of peripheral joints HK, DK, pelvis, ribs, spine and soft tissues. 5. Consultation: Examination and therapy of the above mentioned physiotherapeutic methods.

Learning outcomes
The course is a follow-up to information acquired in physiotherapy and provides knowledge of modern methods of movement therapy. In the form of theoretical and practical students will acquire these methods and use them in professional practice. The aim is to gain theoretical background and master practical skills that are part of physiotherapeutic procedures.
Expertise: Student demonstrates broad knowledge of the principles of movement control and the theory of pain applied in physiotherapy, understanding the possibilities and conditions of the use of physiotherapy in the diagnosis and therapy of functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. He demonstrates broad knowledge of basic principles of diagnostics and therapy of individual special concepts and methods of physiotherapy. Professional skills: Student is able to use the basic principles of Vojta's reflex locomotion concept, Bobath concept and Kenny's therapy, he can perform basic examination and therapeutic procedure according to Kenny's therapy, Brügger concept and McKenzie concept.

Credit: active participation in the class, demonstration of acquired practical skills. Exam: Passing a written test - 80%. Self-study of recommended literature and study support, checking by electronic and individual consultations.
