Seminar Topics: 1. consultation: Latin in medical terminology, introduction to the language, pronunciation. Substantives I. - V. declination, substantives of Greek origin. Preposition. 2. consultation: Adjectives I. - III. declination, the comparison of adjective. 3. consultation: Numerals : cardinal and ordinal forms. Prefixes, suffixes, composed words. Self-Study: Self-study of assigned and recommended literature and study materials.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject is taken as irreplaceable in professional education. Students will study the basics of Latin grammar, some basic vocabulary covering the field of study and will train how to work with a specialized dictionary. The study materials also include special texts from various fields. The aim is to study the basics of Latin grammar and some basic vocabulary.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows the basic of latin grammar and can work with a special dictionary. Subject Skills: Student can use the vocabulary including practical application of medical terminology.
