Learning outcomes
The subject provides the knowledge of Latin grammar and terminology, emphasizes the acquisition of clear medical language expression. Mastering vocabulary is important for other preclinical and clinical disciplines that require the accuracy of verbal expression in describing anatomical structure and assessing both physiological and pathological conditions.
Expertise: The student demonstrates knowledge of Latin medical terminology in the field of pronunciation, lexical and grammar. Professional skills: The student is able to use the acquired knowledge in orientation in professional medical nomenclature of his field. General eligibility: The student is able to use within his / her professional knowledge, skills and abilities the correct Latin medical terminology of his / her specialization.

Credit: continuous verification of professional knowledge through active participation in classes and fulfillment of partial tests. Examination: a comprehensive written test from the set topics, an oral interview on a selected topic from the test.
