Seminar Topics: 1. Latin in v medicine, introduction, pronunciation. 2. Nouns I. - V. declination, nouns of Greek origin 3. Preposition. 4. Verbs system I. - IV. Conjugacy. 5. Adjective I. - III. Declination. 6. Gradation of adjectives. 7. Numbers: cardinal, ordinal. 8. Pronouns. 9. Latin prefix, suffix, composed words 10. Greek prefix, suffix, composed words. 11. Revision.

Learning outcomes
The subject plays an irreplaceable role in the professional education. Students will learn the basics of Latin grammar, basic vocabulary of the subject they are studying, and they will learn how to work with a dictionary. The curriculum is suitably supplemented in texts oriented to individual fields of study. The aim is to learn the basics of Latin grammar and to gain new vocabulary.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows the basics of Latin grammar and can work with specialized dictionaries. Subject Skills: Student is able to use the vocabulary including practical use in medical terminology.
