Learning outcomes
|
The subject provides basic information about yoga methods, their application among healthy individuals, with application possibilities in patients with impaired musculoskeletal system, nervous diseases, or with cardiovascular, breathing and other impairments. The aim is to get understanding of the importance of the basic sets for application in physiotherapy, to train individual yoga methods and to get to know moral principles of yoga.
Subject Knowledge: Students can describe the importance and the benefits of yoga for a healthy person, they are able to evaluate the effectiveness and sense of yoga for the clients with different disabilities or a particular disease. Subject Skills: Based on acquired knowledge, students are able to demonstrate and teach preparatory exercises, workout series and sets, basics asana or other yoga techniques (relaxation, concentration).
