Seminar Topics: 1. consultation: Preparatory exercises. The sets of exercises. Basic asanas I. and II. Hathenas, gymnastics of yoga. Basic purifying techniques. Basic Bandhas and Mudras. Self-Study: 1. The basics of relaxation. 2. The basics of concentration. 3. Diet and yoga.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject provides basic information about the methods of yoga, their application in health care programs, the possibilities of application for the patients with motoric disorders, neural, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. The aim is to understand the importance of basic exercises in physiotherapy and to train yoga methods, to understand the basic moral rules.
Subject Knowledge: Student can describe the importance of yoga for a healthy person; he/she can evaluate the usefulness and meaning of yoga for the clients with different types of impairment or disease. Subject Skills: Student can perform and teach the exercises, sets, basic asanas and other yoga techniques (relaxation, concentration) based on the knowledge of the subject.
