Lecture Topics: 1. consultation: Menstrual irregularities, divergent placement of the organs in the small pelvis, inflammations, tumours, development defects. Gynaecological operations, oncology, prophylaxis. 2. consultation: Gravidity, birth, six weeks, gynaecological issues of the sportswomen. Educational process in the six week time and child's care Self-Study: Anatomy and physiology of female reproduction system. Female development stages and their characteristics. Examination methods in gynaecology and obstetrics.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject provides basic knowledge in the field of taking care of a woman and a mother in different stages of her life being healthy and ill. The aim of the subject is to teach the students the role of a mother using the knowledge of gynaecology and obstetrics. It leads knowledge application in prevention and medical education of women of different ages and social statuses.
Subject Knowledge: Student can describe the anatomy and physiology of female reproduction system; he/ she can define menstrual irregularities, development defects and divergent placement of the organs in the small pelvis. He/she can explain the stages of gravidity, birth and six weeks period. He/she know the gynaecological problems of sportswomen. Subject Skills: Student can apply the theory in practice.
