Course content

Lecture topics: 1. Construction of the spinal (peripheral) nerve as a basis for building nerve plexus and ANS. 2. Construction of the spinal cord, grey and white matter, Rexeds Zones, motoric a sensitive pathways. 3. Brainstem, nn. craniales. 4. Diencephalon, hormone s overview, telencephalon, cortex analysis 5. The autonomic nervous system, sympatikus, parasympatikus, relation of internal organs with spinal vertebrae, limbic system. 6. General structure of the digestive tract, the structure of digestive system organs. 7. Heart and the circulatory system. 8. Anatomy of the respiratory system. 9. Structure and function of the urogenital system 10. Projection of internal organs onto the surface of a body. 11. Contacts between the internal organs and the organs of musculoskeletal organs as a basis for contact viscerovertebral relations. Seminar topics: 1. Back muscles, construction function, palpation. 2. Chest and abdominal muscles, construction function. 3. Head and neck muscles, construction function, palpation. 4. Construction of the peripheral nerve, pl. cervicalis and brachialis, course of the nerves, innervation areas. 5. Pl. lumbosacralis, course of the nerves, innervation areas. 6. Brainstem, cranial nerves, course, innervation areas. 7. General structure of the digestive tract, the structure of digestive system organs. Projection of organs onto the surface of a body. 8. Heart and the circulatory system, course of the vessels related to the musculoskeletal system 9. Anatomy of the respiratory system, mechanic of respiration, relations to the musculoskeletal system 10. Construction and function of the urogenital system, and topographic relations to the musculoskeletal system. 11. Projection of the internal organs onto the surface of a body. Palpation verification of a position of the internal organs in the body cavities, and their projection onto the surface of a body.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject follows the subject of Anatomy I and deals with the structure and function of the nervous system (central and peripheral) in particular with the function of the musculoskeletal system and the structure and function of internal organs especially with regard to their effect on the function of the musculoskeletal system. Special attention is paid to the nervous reflex connection of internal organs with musculoskeletal system as a basis for viscerovertebral and viscerovertebral relations.
Subject Knowledge: Student can describe the construction and function of the peripheral and central nervous system, included the autonomous nervous system, can describe the construction and function of organs systems, and also the principles of the connections between the internal organs and musculoskeletal system through autonomous nervous system Subject Skills: Student is able to locate the course of peripheral nerves including their innervation areas, knows relationships between the internal organs, the spinal vertebrae and upper and lower limbs through reflexes of the autonomous nervous system, student knows contact relations between the internal organs and the musculoskeletal system and the projection of the internal organs onto the surface of a body.
