Course content
Thematic areas of lectures: 1.Introduction to the subject, construction principle of the human body, overview of tissues, organs of the musculoskeletal system (bone, joint, muscle) 2.Functional anatomy of the shoulder girdle and elbow 3.Functional anatomy of the forearm, wrist and hand. 4.Functional anatomy of the pelvis, planes, SI joints 5.Functional anatomy of the hip and knee joint 6.Functional anatomy of lower leg, calf, ankle and foot, arch of the foot 7. Axial organ, vertebra, movement segment of the spine, spine as a whole, functional anatomy of the spine, joints on the spine, chest 8. Construction of the skull, neuro- and splanchnocranium, jaw joint 9.Muscles of the head, neck, torso, chest, abdomen, diaphragm, pelvic floor, sphincters Thematic areas of seminars: 1. Planes and directions on the human body, practical exercises, anatomical nomenclature 2. Shoulder to elbow braid - palpation anatomy of bone structures, anatomical description of joints, ranges of movement, barriers, muscle palpation, muscle groups 3. Forearm, wrist, hand - palpation anatomy of bone structures, anatomical description of joints, ranges of motion, barriers, muscle palpation, muscle groups 4. Pelvis - palpation anatomy of bone structures, anatomical description of joints, ranges of motion, barriers, muscle palpation, muscle groups 5.Hip to knee joint - palpation anatomy of bone structures, anatomical description of joints, ranges of motion, barriers, muscle palpation, muscle groups 6. Learning outcomes
Anatomy deals with the macroscopic structure of the human body. The first part of the course deals with general chapters, which include the principle of the construction of the human body from the cell, through tissues and organs to organ systems. Furthermore, the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles) throughout the body are discussed.
Expertise: Student demonstrates knowledge of microscopic structure of human body (tissue) and broad knowledge of macroscopic structure of human body (organs, organ systems). Professional skills: The student is able to describe the basic principle of human body construction (tissues, organs, organ systems) and is able to describe human musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles), their anatomical structure and relationships (structural, functional). Competences: The student is able to practically use the field knowledge during palpation examination of important bone structures and during palpation examination of skeletal muscles and their insertions.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit requirements: 80% active participation in seminars, verification of knowledge during the academic year - successful completion of 80% of continuous tests from the lectured curriculum (tests are written every week at the seminar) with a total success rate of 70% practical examination of plastinates, anatomical models or at a virtual autopsy table; Conditions for passing the exam:, credit completed, writing at least 2 tests from the lectured subject matter in consultations within lectures (tests are written at each consultation except the first one) with a total success rate of 70%, Exam: written test + oral examination in the examination period of the winter or summer semester
