Course content
Lecture topics: 1. Introductory chapters, upper limb: shoulder and arm 2. Upper limb: elbow and forearms 3. Upper limb: wrist and hand 4. Lower limb: pelvis, hip, thigh 5. Lower limb: knee, leg and calf 6. Lower limb: ankle and foot 7. Skull, jaw joint, muscles and soft head tissue 8. Neck: cervical spine, neck muscles 9. Chest: thoracic spine, chest, chest muscles 10. Belly: Lumbar spine, abdominal and back muscles Practical exercises: 1. Basic anatomical concepts, planes, directions 2. Palpation and topographic anatomy of shoulder and arm plaits 3. Palpation and topographic anatomy of elbow and forearms 4. Palpation and topographic anatomy of wrists and hands 5. Palpation and topographic anatomy of pelvis, hip and thigh 6. Palpation and topographic anatomy of thighs, knees and legs 7. Palpation and topographic anatomy of the leg, ankle and legs 8. Upper and lower limb test, palpation and topographic anatomy of bones, joints and head muscles 9. Palpation and topographic anatomy of the bones, joints and neck muscles 10. Palpation and topographic anatomy of bones, joints and chest muscles

Learning outcomes
Anatomy deals with the macroscopic structure of human body. The first part of the subject deals with general chapters, which include the principle of construction of the human body from the cells, tissues and organs to the organ systems. The function and the structure of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles) in whole human body will be also discussed.
Subject Knowledge: Student can describe basic principle of the construction of the human body (tissues, organs, organs systems) and is able to describe the musculoskeletal apparatus (bone, join muscle), and their anatomical structure. Subject Skills: Student can use the subject knowledge in tactile examination of an important bone formation , in examination of the range of motions around joint axes ,in palpation examination of skeletal muscles and their insertions

Assessment methods and criteria

- 80% personal participation in practical exercises from anatomy, - test results in practical exercises. Insufficient knowledge means absence in this Practical exercises, which are included in the total attendance per semester, - 1-2 written tests per semester. Both tests are the first credit term. Those who benefit from both tests will automatically receive a credit. In another case, the student completes the second or third credit term (1st and 2nd correction term), which take the form of oral examination.
