The subject includes teaching of the English language for intermediate level students with the focus on the special professional language used in the medical field. The aim of the course is to train reading and understanding of professional texts.
Subject Knowledge: Students can describe a human body and characterize the most common diseases; they can create and fill in the basic forms for the patients. Students can describe the doctor's office. Subject Skills: Student can gain from the patients basic personal data and can describe the first aid procedures. |
