The subject includes language teaching for intermediate students with the focus on professional language covering health care system. The aim is to develop the skills of reading and comprehension of foreign special texts.
Subject Knowledge: Students can describe a human body, can characterize the most common diseases, can assemble and fill in basic questionnaire for the patients. Students can describe surgery processes. Subject Skills: Student is able to handle a conversation with patients about basic patient's data; he/she can describe first aid procedures. |
