Course content
Seminar Topics: 1. consultation: Introduction to the subject, presenting basic terms, anamnesis. 2. consultation: Types of muscle contraction, active movement, passive movement, relaxation. 3. consultation: Positioning. 4. consultation: Fitness exercises, re-education of postural functions. Self-Study: Basic principles of respiratory physiotherapy, breathing gymnastics.

Learning outcomes
The subject is designed as theoretically-practical. It provides students with the basics of physiotherapy and presents basic terminology. It informs about the way and practical realization of basic physiotherapeutic means. The knowledge gained in the course is a precondition for being skillful in examination methods of occupational therapy and subsequent occupational therapy intervention.
Subject Knowledge: Students can understand basic physiotherapeutic terminology, can gain anamnesis and define active and passive movement. Professional Skills: Students can perform fitness exercises according to individual indicative areas, they can use aids for positioning and also for re-education of postural functions as well as they are able to apply basic principles of respiratory physiotherapy and breathing gymnastics.
