Course content
Seminar topics: 1st Introduction to Transmutation 2. production of therapeutic aids (analysis of the aid in terms of application for individual diagnoses) 3. production of therapeutic aids (practical production) 4. production of therapeutic aids (practical production) 5. Presentations made by therapeutic aids 6. Fulfillment (theoretical basis) 7th grooving - the practical part of the production of planks 8. Filling - the practical part of the production of planks 9. Fleece - presentation of a self-made plate

Learning outcomes
The subject is structured as practical. By using a form of seminars it closely follows the subject Therapeutic Techniques and Activities and completes it with more details. It leads students towards gained knowledge application in treatment during occupational therapy with a goal to apply individual therapeutic techniques to specific illnesses. Every activity will deal with theoretic introduction of the activity to be carried out, the selection of the material and its effect, application, selection of tools, the size of the product. The next goal is to familiarize students with OHS of each technique.
Subject Knowledge: Student can explain principles and procedures for applying a specific therapeutic technique in occupational therapy. Professional Skills: Student suggests therapeutic activities based on the results of occupational therapy examination. He manages a specific technique and considering the realized kinesiological analysis he can suggest a suitable procedure regarding the age and diagnosis of the patient. Student can make a simple thermoplastic splint.

Assessment methods and criteria

80% participation in seminars, continuous demonstration of practical skills. Preparation of therapeutic therapies for group occupational therapies. Individual production of one compensation aid, one therapeutic aid and their presentation. Plate production and oral demonstration of knowledge.
