Course content
Seminar Topics: 3. year: 1. - 2. week: Familiarization with the selected workplace and the work role of individual members of multidisciplinary team. Realization of admission examination, using appropriate tests for entry examination, occupational therapy intervention application, release medical examination and a final assessment. Learning outcomes
The subject provides students with skills of practical occupational therapy. It is taught at professional workplaces of medical institutions including specialized institutions and social service institutions. It guides students towards the independent work at professional level. The goal of the subject is to gain knowledge of applied occupational therapy procedure in basic indicative areas as well as to gain knowledge of principles of medical and rehabilitation procedures when following complex occupational therapy program.
Subject Knowledge: The student can explain possibilities of occupational therapy for a specific patient/service user. Professional Skills: Examination realization. Occupational therapy plan proposal and its realization. Coping with documentation and administration regarding occupational therapy.

Achieved requirement of subject practical training V.
