Learning outcomes
The subject includes knowledge of psychological disciplines - general psychology, personality psychology, developmental psychology and extends the student's knowledge of social psychology, effective communication and coping with difficult life situations. Particular emphasis is placed on the mental health of women and children, including the prevention of negative conditions in society.
Expertise: The student knows the problems of social development of the individual, social inclusion. They can define a social group and define its structure and dynamics. They will recognize factors that threaten the healthy development of the individual and can eliminate them within the preventive action. He knows the specifics of the family and the influence of the family on the healthy development of the individual and relationships. Professional skills: The student is able to manage the social group and reduce the negative influences within the group dynamics. They can apply and develop mental health principles and take into account the specifics of functional and dysfunctional families in their profession. Competences: The student is able to communicate empatically with clients and patients with their family members.
