After completing the course the student will have an overview of the causes of illnesses/disorders, regressive and metabolic changes, inflammations and tumorous disorders. Students will also gain some insight into the ways of processing the material designed for histologic examination, diagnostic methods used in routine practice and they will have better understanding of basic pathophysiological mechanisms.
Subject Knowledge: The student knows basic medical terminology and can define pathophysiology of certain illnesses. Professional Skills: The student can actively use the knowledge of pathology and apply pathology in practice, science and research. |
