The subject provides students with skills in practical occupational therapy. It is taught at professional workplaces of medical institutions including specialized institutions. It guides students towards independent work at a professional level. The goal of the subject is to gain knowledge of applied occupational therapy procedures in basic indicative areas as well as to gain knowledge of principles concerning medical and rehabilitation procedures when following a complex occupational therapy program.

The goal of the subject is to gain knowledge of applied occupational therapy procedures in basic indicative areas as well as to gain knowledge of principles concerning medical and rehabilitation procedures when following a complex occupational therapy program.
Subject Knowledge: Students will deepen their knowledge and practical skills gained in professional course and will be able to respect clients' peculiarities, the rules and principles of behavioural ethics of an occupational therapist. Professional Skills: Student can create anamnesis, apply basic tests used in occupational therapy and evaluate them. Based on the results of the tests he can set a short-term occupational therapy plan. |
