Course content
Seminar Topics: 1. consultation: Latin in medical terminology, introduction to the language, pronunciation. Substantives I. - V. declination, substantives of Greek origin. 2. consultation: Adjectives I. - III. Declination, declination of adjectives. 3. consultation: Prefixes, suffixes, compounds. Self-study: Prepositions. Numbers: cardinals, ordinals.

Learning outcomes
The subject plays an irreplaceable role in professional education. Students can learn the basics of Latin grammar, basic vocabulary of the subject they study and they will learn how to work with a professional dictionary. The learning material is suitably supplied with professional texts focused on special study subjects. The goal is to study basic Latin grammar and gain basic vocabulary.
Subject knowledge: The student can use basic Latin grammar and work with a professional dictionary. Professional skills: The student can use vocabulary including practical use of medical terminology.
