Lecture Topics: 1. consultation: Changes and disorders of perception. Disorders of attention and concentration. Emotion, affection and feeling disorders. Instinct disorders and acting disorders. Thought disorder and speech disorders. Sleeping disorder. Personality and behavioural disorders. Self-Study: Schizophrenia. Eating disorders. Disorders of psychical development. Mental retardation: psychological issues. Memory disorders.

Learning outcomes |
The subject deepens student's knowledge about a mental life of a person in bio-psycho-social relations. The goal is to gain knowledge about psychical disorders and personality disorder. It also focuses on professional behaviour of the nursing team.
Subject Knowledge: Students know most common disorders of psychical processes, states of personality disorders and can define them; they know the most common causes. Professional Skills: Students can work with individuals with psychical disorders and individuals with personality disorders and can predict their behaviour and eliminate problems. |
