Course content
Lecture Topics: 1st consultation: Kinesiology Introduction, Movement Therapy (focus on shoulder girdle, arm, elbow, forearm, hand). 2nd consultation: Gait Analysis, Sensomotor Stimulation, Method of Synergistic Reflexology. Seminar Topics: 1st consultation: Introduction, basic assumptions, anatomy, biomechanics, joint mobilization - shoulder girdle, shoulder joint, wrist and hand. Self-study: Anatomy of the musculoskeletal system.

Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
The course builds on the knowledge gained in anatomy, biomechanics and neurophysiology. It deals with the general function of the joint and its skeletal muscles in connection with their involvement in complex movements such as walking, running, stereotypes of everyday life, which it analyzes for their normal and pathological function. It provides basic characteristics of selected movement methods and concepts that can be applied in occupational therapy.
Expertise: The student demonstrates broad knowledge in selected movement methods. Specifically, sensorimotor stimulation, synergistic reflex therapy and movement therapy focused on the upper limb area and mobilization. Professional skills: The student is able to characterize basic terminology related to kinesiology. The student can describe selected movement methods and therapies. Competences: The student is able to practically use the basic elements of sensorimotor stimulation, synergistic reflex therapy, mobilization and movement therapy of the upper limb.
