In detail it will also introduce the students with possibilities of non-pharmacological treatment particularly with the possibilities of regime precautions, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and balneology for the most common internal diseases. The first part of the subject is devoted to general symptomatology of diseases and then to the diseases of cardiovascular and respiratory system.
Subject Knowledge: Students can independently present the extent of topical knowledge they gained during the lectures or the extent of knowledge gained during self-study of the material presented during the lectures. Professional Skills: Students can measure blood pressure, heart rate and pulse under a calm state or under the strain and can calculate or set individual training frequency for cardiac rehabilitation. The students can recommend appropriate strain or physical activity based on the results of a physical test and other examination tests. They can give instructions about autogenic drainage and can instruct the client on using the aids for pulmonary rehabilitation of Flutter or Acapella type.
