Learning outcomes
The subject is the part belonging to the complex of basic study predispositions and the content of the course follows the knowledge gained in anatomy course. The goal of the subject is to understand basic physiological functions of a human organism (physiology of a cell and individual body organs, basic physiological manifestation of an organism, physiology of stress reaction when feeling threatened, feeling of fear and anxiety, the emphasis is put on physiology of locomotive system).
Subject Knowledge: Students can describe basic physiological processes in a human organism including mutual interactions and are able to understand the basic principles regarding the structure of a human body including genome with physiological processes. Furthermore, they can name basic differences comparing the physiology of other animal species. Professional Skills: Students are able to identify clinically the deviations of physiological state and in practice they are able to apply the knowledge concerning physiological adaptation particularly during physical activity or gravidity.
Prerequisites
Conditional subject was not determined.

Assessment methods and criteria
unspecified
Active class participation, written assignments, a written test with 75% passing level.
