Course content
The subject Physiotherapy is taught in the winter term of 3rd year in the field of Physiotherapy study. The study consists of several tutorial topics. One of these are examination and mobilization techniques of pelvis and spine according to Professor Lewit. Subject is drawn as practical seminars. The aim of the subject is to teach students to examine pelvis and spine by manual techniques, taken to our republic by the above mentioned Professor MUDr. Karel Lewit, DrSc. This so - called " Prague school" is worldwide known and reputable. In this e-learning course students acquaint with theoretic basis of disturbances in movement apparatus with the intention of blockade, mechanism of their origin, as well as their effect. Students also acquaint with investigative and therapeutic manual techniques according to Professor MUDr. Karel Lewit, DrSc. Techniques are aimed to pelvis region and axial system of spine.
