Course content
Lecture Topics: 1st consultation: The concept of pre-work and occupational rehabilitation, legislative basis, the possibility of employing people with disabilities. Supported employment, sheltered job. Act No. 435/2004 Coll., On Employment. Abilympics. Seminar Topics: 1st consultation: Methodology of ergodiagnostic evaluation of a patient by a rehabilitation team. Balance diagnostics. Role of occupational therapist. Model activities and ergodiagnostic testing and their further use. Model activities in ergotherapy. Profesiogram. Self-study: Study of projects focused on employment of people with disabilities. Introduction to the activities of the Czech Union of Supported Employment

Learning outcomes
The subject is conceived as theoretical-practical and follows subjects of occupational therapy. It presents a program of ergodiagnostic assessment in order to determine the prerequisites for working inclusion. It describes the system of work rehabilitation, coordinated Labor Offices and the possibility of getting a job with a disabled person in a sheltered job or in supported employment.
Expertise: The student knows the basics of ergodiagnostics and relevant tests. Student is familiar with work rehabilitation, types of architectural barriers and placing clients in a sheltered job. Professional skills: Students are able to use ergodiagnostic tests and based on the results to establish ergotherapeutic procedures that will allow the client to return to work. They are able to apply knowledge to practice, overcome and remove architectural barriers. They cooperate with clients in therapeutic workshops. Competences: The student is able to participate in ergo diagnostic examination within his / her competences and to realize pre-treatment or work rehabilitation of clients.
