Course content
Lecture topics: 1st consultation: Principles of management, orientation in the system of providing and paying for health care and in the organization of health facilities, the quality of provided health care. Activity planning and organization of the occupational therapy department, cooperation with other experts. Undergraduate and postgraduate education of occupational therapists. Professional organization. Functions of review and assessment doctors. Financial and statistical reports and records. ICD-10/IFC. Ergotesting x ergodiagnostics. Seminar topics: 1st consultation: Administrative activities at the occupational therapy workplace - example of keeping reports and records at the workplace. Reporting occupational therapy codes. Demonstration of the possibilities of team management, department, cooperation between professionals. After studying theoretical knowledge, discussion about the duties of healthcare workers, including ensuring the safety of patients. Self-study: Discussion with the head of the rehabilitation department with a presentation of medical records. Material procurement planning proposals. Obligations of healthcare workers. Coordinated rehabilitation

Learning outcomes
The course provides information about the health care system, organization and management of the occupational therapy department, measuring the administrative activities, the quality of provided health services and ensuring patient safety. Students will learn about the prerequisites for creating non-conflicting labor relations.
Expertise: The student demonstrates that he / she is familiar with the system in health care and with the specifics of the program of rehabilitation workplaces and occupational therapists in them. Professional skills: The student is able to apply the acquired knowledge in operation at the occupational therapy department. Competences: The student is able to use the acquired knowledge in the field of management and management of occupational therapy
