Learning outcomes

The subject includes teaching of English for intermediate students with focus on professional language in the health care area. The aim is to create the skill of reading and understanding of a foreign professional text.
Subject knowledge: The students can describe a human body and can characterize most common illnesses and can make and fill a basic questionnaire for patients. The student can describe a medical setting. Professional Skills: The student is able to manage a talk with patients gathering basic patients' personal information and can describe first aid procedures.
