Learning outcomes
|
The subject includes teaching of English to intermediate students aiming at professional language for healthcare sector. The goal is that a student is able to read, correctly pronounce and understand a professional text in English and he is able to follow the media offer either at home or abroad. Furthermore, the student will able to communicate in English within professional environment.
Subject Knowledge: Students can describe a human body and can characterize most common illnesses, can create and fill in some basic questionnaires for patients, the students can describe surgery. Professional Skills: The student is able to manage some conversation with patients to gain some basic patient's data and can describe first aid procedures.
