Course content |
Kinesiology in our sense means movement and its nerve control. It belongs to interdisciplinary sciences. It is based on anatomical, biomechanical and neurological informations which are used to create functional insight into physiological and pathological movements. Topics: - general structure of a joint, joint barriers - joint play in physiological and not physiological directions of movement - total and individual ranges of joint movements - muscle tonus, reciprocal inhibition - classification of skeletal muscles, muscle pattern of a joint, pattern and not pattern muscles - functional joint blockade, its typical signs - structural joint disturbance, its typical signs - physiological and pathological joint and muscle chains
