Art techniques VI / Drawing - illustration Completing the two-semester course Drawing - Illustration I, II further develops and covers the competencies acquired in previous semesters. Its concept is based on the current needs and creative preferences of many students majoring in Graphic Design. It responds naturally to the visual codes of the environment in which students move naturally and orient themselves with an overview (real world, virtual and mixed reality). On the other hand, it caters to those students who prefer traditional illustration associated with classical formats of publications (book and magazine illustrations). An integral part of practical training is the application of drawing outputs in DIY and low-budget / low-cost or bibliophile publications (dummies, zines, flip books, pop-up books). The course also touches (in connection with the personal setting of students and their opinion preferences) specific, even borderline illustration and general drawing formats - for example, graphic design of packaging design or board games; overlap towards body art or land art; urban sketching, gif animation, interior drawing in space, etc. The drawing is thus holistically perceived as a specific "filter" by which the creator reflects on the surrounding world (or creates his own, imaginary world).
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
