Learning outcomes
This course is based on purely individual approach and comes out of individual students' needs, in accordance with their focus on a particular theme of their diploma work. During the two semesters, the student consults the practical part of his/her diploma work, as well as its written defence, and starting from the initial seminars, in which the basic principles of creating a diploma work are defined, they realize their themes step by step up to the resulting stage to be presented as part of the final state examinations. Besides consulting realization of the diploma work itself and the written defence of the bachelor's work, the student is recommended professional literature, as well as names of theoreticians, curators or designers and artists who might give him/her further inspiring consultations, study material, and information on the theme.
- the student is able to work on the theme of the thesis systematically with exactly determined idea of how to solve it - they can reflect the topic of the thesis as originally as possible in consideration of their knowledge of contemporary visual art - they are able to actively contact and communicate with experts who can contribute to the implementation of the diploma thesis with their knowledge and experience - they can choose ideal formal means to realize the diploma thesis - they can already plan the possibilities of installation - based on the literature they have studied, the student is able to draw comprehensive theoretical conclusions - they are able to develop the theoretical part of the thesis into the form of a high-quality theoretical text, both in terms of content and form - they can determine an exact time schedule to finish the realization successfully and to install the diploma thesis, and to complete the theoretical part
