Learning outcomes
The aim of the practical professional training is to extend knowledge, and make sure about the student's own professional skills directly at a work place. Specialization of the practical professional training is optional and depends on the student's own decision and a consultation with the head of the studio and on his/her agreement with the student. The specialization choice should be a benefit for both professional and artistic growth of the student. The practical professional training is as well intended to help consistent development of practical experience and work practices in the given technologies. At the same time, it gives the students a good opportunity to establish personal contacts with experienced specialists.
The student is able to choose the sphere of practical training considering the theme of their diploma thesis. They undergo their practical training where there is a chance of possible cooperation after completing the studies. Thanks to the practical training, the student acquires the necessary practical skills and knowledge as a condition of successful solution of technological and technical procedures when implementing their diploma thesis. They master the contemporary practical approaches and new technical findings they are able to apply in their creative work. The student is able to focus on development of their own artistic potential in confrontation with the institutional milieu of galleries. Within challenges of various curatorship projects, they are able to formulate their own artistic opinion convincingly. Thanks to the practical training in the gallery environment, the student is able to understand the current art scene in its factual operation.
