Learning outcomes
|
This practically oriented course acquaints students with principles of correct processing of digital video and sound. A/ Video: A student will acquire skills to handle video formats, resolutions, compression, and preparation of video materials for a number of various purposes. While working on their own projects, the students will master techniques of shooting, editing, post-production, animation, rendering, and export of video, including preparation of DVD or video files for websites, or various forms of video installations. The work is usually carried out in applications like Adobe Premiere and Adobe AfterEffects, or Final Cut Pro. B/ Sound: During the course, the students will learn how to record sound for various purposes, such as dialogues, noises, or independent sound compositions. They will acquaint with proceedings of digital processing of sound records, computer generating of sound, using midi tools and other experimental sound creation. The work is done on a professional application Pro Tools in a recording and post-production studio.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
