Learning outcomes
The course aims to introduce participants to the operations of cultural exhibition institutions in the contemporary context. Students will become familiar with fundamental concepts and theories in this field, particularly in relation to contemporary art and the cultural and creative industries (CCI). The evolution of art presentation from the second half of the 20th century to the present will be explored through analyses of selected types, projects, and spaces. Theoretical lectures will be complemented by independent work (reading texts, listening), as well as enriched with practical excursions to selected institutions. A key component of the course is direct engagement with exhibitions (and potentially their creators), allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
The acquired competencies represent the mastery and application of knowledge in the given field, based on the specific course description and aimed at fulfilling the graduate profile.
